CEMENTATION OR CARBON CEMENTATION TREATMENT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSemi-finished products are heated in chamber furnaces until reaching temperatures between 880\u00b0 and 920\u00b0 C. Methane\nenriched air is blown inside the furnace so that carbon can be better absorbed on the surfaces of the various components.\nThe following oil hardening process at 850\u00b0 C confers to the external carbon layer a high level of hardness and resistance\nto wear. Stress relieving is carried out at temperatures between 180\u00b0 and 240\u00b0 to obtain the requested final hardness and a\nvariable depth of the cemented layer which is strictly correlated to the time span of the blowing phase.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
